ESI notification for availing treatment with respect to insured person and dependent.

In order to connect aadhar card with insured persons insurance number ESI Corporation as introduced ‘e-pehchan card’. e-pehchan card will in principle replace temporary insurance card.

The employee and the dependants can use e-pehchan card to receive treatment for first 30 days from the date of issue of the card.

One of the following conditions must be full filled in order to receive treatment after 30 days : 

• E pechan card to be linked with the aadhar numbers of insured person and his dependents.

• Insured person and his dependents to apply for bio-metric  pehchan card by appearing in any pechan camp.
